Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of Apache Flink pipelines and AWS infrastructure as the team's subject matter expert. This role requires deep expertise in Flink, Java, and cloud-native technologies to build real-time data streaming solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Apache Flink pipeline jobs for data processing and analytics.
• Build and maintain RESTful web services and application integrations using Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions).
• Define and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with product managers and stakeholders across the SDLC.

Required Skills

• Hands-on expertise in Apache Flink pipeline development and maintenance.
• Strong Java knowledge with experience in Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Broad, hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency in Golang for Kubernetes applications and Lambda functions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with Kafka for real-time data streaming and asynchronous messaging.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to function as the in-house Apache Flink subject matter expert from day one.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities in a collaborative, high-touch environment.
