Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and applications within a complex data ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring frameworks.
• Design and implement data models using 3NF and Star Schema.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve system performance.
• Operate within Agile methodologies including Kanban and SCRUM.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in technology-related fields.
• 4+ years of Java development utilizing Spring frameworks.
• 2+ years of experience developing applications in AWS, specifically AWS Batch, S3, and IAM.
• 2+ years of experience working with SQL (ANSI SQL, Oracle, Snowflake).
• 1+ years of Python development.
• Experience with Unix shell scripting (bash, ksh) and orchestration tools like Control-M.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing batch jobs with Spring Batch.
• Background in the financial services industry.
