Description

You will design and implement Snowflake-based analytics solutions, including data lakes and data warehouses on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define data and analytics requirements and perform source data analysis and profiling.
• Design logical and physical data lake and data warehouse architectures.
• Build data integration and publication pipelines.
• Develop best practices for Snowflake deployment and usage.
• Automate data pipelines using cloud-based and on-premise technologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a data engineer.
• 8+ years of experience with Windows, Linux, or Solaris platforms.
• 8+ years of database experience with MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, or Teradata.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake, DBT, Azure, AWS, or Fivetran.
• 3+ years of development experience using VS Code, Eclipse, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Proficiency in SQL and database table design for large data sets.
• Experience in data warehouse and analytics solution design and development.
• Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing data integration solutions using Matillion or DBT.
• SnowPro Core Certification or Azure/AWS cloud certifications.
• Hands-on implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouses.
