Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines to extract insights from large, distributed datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the discovery, implementation, and validation of new data points within the data lake.
• Own the technical direction of data implementations and manage technical conversations with data consumers.
• Develop and maintain data collection, transformation, and delivery processes.
• Maintain the existing data landscape by ensuring it remains clean, up-to-date, and proactively validated.
• Improve team ways of working and technical maturity through collaboration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Extensive experience with GCP, specifically BigQuery and Cloud Run.
• Experience working with REST APIs and Azure Blob Storage.
• Proven track record of handling large, distributed datasets.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Dataform.
