Description

Build and maintain data engineering solutions across the data lifecycle, focusing on ETL development, production support, and pipeline orchestration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve operational support tickets for BI, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
• Maintain, enhance, and deploy SSIS packages with strong logging, error handling, and recoverability.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Build and orchestrate Azure Data Factory pipelines, including parameterization and environment promotion.
• Perform root-cause analysis of failures, implement permanent fixes, and document runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on ETL development and production support experience.
• Expert-level SQL Server (T-SQL), including performance tuning and query plan analysis.
• Strong SSIS development, deployment, and troubleshooting experience in production environments.
• Solid Azure Data Factory experience for data pipeline orchestration and monitoring.
• Experience with Python for automation and lightweight transforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and proven ability to analyze complex data issues.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SQL Server Analysis Services or experience with Power BI/data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with GitHub or Azure DevOps for CI/CD, releases, and environment configuration.
