Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of data systems supporting data management, governance, reporting, and business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements alongside subject matter experts.
• Design and develop scalable data assets for ETL/ELT processes from diverse sources.
• Build, operate, and optimize highly scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Drive end-to-end project ownership, covering planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data lineage, observability, and governance across data systems.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, focusing on scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Comprehensive understanding of data pipeline and modern data stack architecture, including AWS and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and API invocation for data extraction.
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools including Snowflake, PySpark, and AWS Glue/EMR.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical skills with solid written and verbal communication abilities.
