You will design and build scalable data engineering solutions for trading activities, managing project timelines and delivering technical requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design software solutions and databases by gathering requirements from portfolio managers, traders, and operations staff.
• Develop efficient, scalable solutions that meet client technology biases for new trading activities.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
• Formulate and enforce data governance principles.
• Transfer knowledge to team members and support staff via demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience designing databases and data modeling.
• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Ability to formulate data governance principles.

Preferred Skills

• Background in financial trading systems or portfolio management tools.
