Description

You will design and implement Snowflake-based analytics solutions, including data lakes and warehouses on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define data and analytics requirements and perform source data analysis and profiling.
• Design logical and physical data lake and data warehouse architectures.
• Build data integration and publication pipelines using cloud-based and on-premise technologies.
• Develop and automate data pipelines to ensure efficient querying of large datasets.
• Establish Snowflake deployment and usage best practices.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience implementing cloud data warehouses using Snowflake.
• Experience designing data integration solutions using ELT/ETL tools such as Matillion or dbt.
• Proficiency in SQL and database table design for efficient querying of large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and physical database design and tuning.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, AWS, and Fivetran.
• Experience with MS SQL, Oracle, DB2, or Teradata.
• Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
• Ability to work with Windows, Linux, or Solaris platforms.

Preferred Skills

• SnowPro Core Certification.
• Azure Microsoft Certified or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
