Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Stand up and maintain a dedicated legacy test environment for safe development and validation 
• Implement synthetic data generation and PHI-compliant mocking methodologies for the development 
lifecycle 
• Triage and resolve operational issues on the existing Airflow-based data pipeline 
• Document current system behaviors, error signatures, and edge cases as inputs to the migration design 
• Produce a formal technical specification mapping legacy behaviors to the target architecture 
• Design observability requirements and dashboard specs for engineering and operational stakeholders 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 
• Apache Airflow — DAG authoring, debugging, and operational support 
• Python for data engineering and scripting 
• PostgreSQL — querying, schema understanding 
• PHI / HIPAA-compliant data handling practices 
• Synthetic data and test data generation techniques 
• Experience working on large-scale legacy pipeline investigations or migrations
