Description

You will design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, and Data Factory.
• Implement medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers) within Microsoft Fabric OneLake.
• Develop PySpark and SQL-based notebooks for data transformations and analysis.
• Apply data security, compliance, and governance policies using Microsoft Purview.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting for data workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Delta Lake.
• Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, and Python for data processing.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse architecture.
• Knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and data visualization best practices.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake, Blob Storage, and Parquet formats.
• Experience managing data security, RBAC, and governance in Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Azure certifications including DP-600 or Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer.
