Description

You will build and maintain data gathering, modeling, and self-service reporting capabilities.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS and GCP services.
• Develop and maintain self-service data platforms and reporting tools for internal stakeholders.
• Perform database analysis, data modeling, and performance optimizations for SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Manage data warehousing solutions and ensure data integrity across formats.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Owners to define data requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Data or BI Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Deep familiarity with AWS (S3, Lambda, EMR, Glue, Athena) or GCP (GCS, Cloud Functions, Dataproc, Dataflow, BigQuery).
• Experience with data modeling, data catalogs, and database performance tuning.
• Proficiency with Amplitude, Fivetran, Airflow, and DBT.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, SiSense, or Looker.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, TDD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
