Description

Design and build scalable data pipelines, AI-ready datasets, and governance frameworks for cloud platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade ELT/ETL pipelines using modern data engineering frameworks.
• Build AI-ready datasets, semantic layers, and vector pipelines for retrieval.
• Implement data models, quality frameworks, and observability standards.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and client teams on architecture reviews.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Expert SQL skills and strong Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Proficiency with dbt, Apache Airflow, and modern ELT pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data lineage.
• Experience designing and supporting production-scale cloud data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and Spark Structured Streaming.
• Background in AI/ML data preparation and vector database pipelines.
