Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of complex data engineering solutions for City agencies. You build scalable data pipelines and ETL infrastructure to support actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain coherent, scalable data pipeline architectures for consolidated repositories.
• Develop secure ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into target systems.
• Build analytics tools utilizing data pipelines to track customer engagement and operational efficiency.
• Perform technical design, component testing, and development of repository changes.
• Create and maintain system documentation and develop APIs for data access and landing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience writing SQL and managing database solutions.
• 8+ years of experience automating data operations, including copying, transferring, and manipulating data.
• Proficiency with ETL tools: Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, SSIS, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Redshift.
• Ability to model database schemas for large datasets.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, and Perl.
• Experience developing cloud-ready applications.
