Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS to support enterprise analytics.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud data engineering solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Plan and execute migrations from on-premises environments to AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure AWS monitoring, alerts, and security groups to maintain resource availability and compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and manage concurrent projects across multiple stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in application/platform engineering, business intelligence, or analytics.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud data engineering, management, or architecture.
• Proficiency with core AWS services: S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, Kinesis, EMR, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.
• Strong experience with database technologies including SQL, Python, PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora, AWS RDS, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Proficiency in data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools and automation: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Terraform.
• Advanced knowledge of IAM roles, policies, and IT security requirements.
• Strong scripting skills using Python and PowerShell.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale enterprise streaming services like Kafka.
• Experience with containerization technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, or AWS Fargate.
• Experience implementing applications across Windows and Linux server OS, including networking and security group management.
