You will design, build, and maintain scalable data management systems and high-performance algorithms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, test, and maintain data management systems and disaster recovery procedures.
• Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
• Build predictive models, prototypes, and custom software components for analytics.
• Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into existing structures.
• Collaborate with data architects, IT teams, and data scientists to meet project goals.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Proficiency with relational databases including SQL and MySQL.
• Experience with non-relational databases such as NoSQL, MongoDB, and Hadoop.
• Experience programming or architecting backend languages like Java or J2EE.
• Strong understanding of data mining practices and algorithms.
• Ability to implement processes for data reliability and quality.
• Technical degree or equivalent professional work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating new data management technologies into legacy structures.
• Background in building custom software components for analytics.
