Description

You will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions within a financial services context.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
• Design and manage cloud-based data solutions on Azure.
• Optimize database architecture, SQL queries, and ETL processes for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions and ensure data integrity and security.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers while implementing data governance and quality best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, specifically within the financial sector.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SSIS.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud data services.
• Hands-on experience with Apache tools, including Spark, Hadoop, and Airflow.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Deep understanding of ETL development and data integration.
• Proven ability to tune SQL queries for efficiency.
