Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of complex data engineering solutions for City agencies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipeline architectures for consolidated repositories.
• Develop secure ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Build analytics tools to track customer engagement and operational efficiency.
• Perform technical design, component testing, and development of repository changes.
• Create system documentation and develop APIs for data access.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience writing SQL and managing database solutions.
• 8+ years of experience automating data operations, including copying, transferring, and manipulating data.
• Proficiency with ETL tools: Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, SSIS, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Redshift.
• Ability to model database schemas for large datasets.
• Programming experience in Python, Java, and Perl.
• Experience developing cloud-ready applications.
