Description

You will own the design and build of scalable data pipelines for large datasets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines using the Hadoop ecosystem and Greenplum for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Optimize data models and queries for performance while ensuring security and governance compliance.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and orchestration workflows to ensure timely data delivery.
• Translate business rules from Data Owners and stakeholders into technical solutions.
• Document requirements, lineage, and curate datasets aligned with SLAs.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expertise in the Hadoop ecosystem, including HDFS, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with MPP databases, specifically Greenplum.
• Proficiency in Agile environments.
• Experience in data governance and ensuring data quality.
• Ability to interact with clients and define technical scope.
• Understanding of Big Data concepts.
