Description

Lead the design and implementation of a greenfield Order Management System (OMS) data architecture and strategy.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines moving data from OMS to data lake and warehouse.
• Integrate data from transactional databases, third-party APIs, and external sources using ETL processes.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure security, privacy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Product teams to deliver data solutions.

Required Skills

• 7-8 years of experience in data engineering, focusing on architecture and pipeline development.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP services.
• Experience with BigQuery, Databricks, Spark, Airflow, and DBT.
• Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing concepts.
• Deep understanding of data lake architectures and ETL processes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
