Description

You will build and maintain a common data platform, migrating on-premises solutions to Azure and standardizing the reporting layer.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and redesign existing on-premises solutions to the Azure cloud platform.
• Develop data pipelines between diverse applications including SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, and MS Dynamics 365.
• Manage data ingestion and replication to a shared cloud platform.
• Standardize tools and the reporting layer by rebuilding BI solutions from SAP to Azure.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver interactive customer reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks, including Unity Catalog, workflows, Python, and Spark/PySpark.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory and ADLS blob storage using delta tables and parquet.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with MSSQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of at least three: Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database, Power BI, MongoDB, or Azure Functions.
• Ability to work within a complex landscape of diverse data sources.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Higher education in IT or a related field.
