Description

Lead Azure infrastructure and DevOps activities, architecting large-scale data migrations and pipelines. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute data pipelines from diverse sources into ADF, Databricks, Azure SQL Warehouse, and Synapse.
• Manage large-scale migrations from on-premises Hadoop systems to Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Automate data operations using DataOps practices and implement Azure Data Security standards.
• Execute product implementation strategies in collaboration with Product Owners and Agile Leads.
• Coordinate technical delivery and communication with onsite teams and international customers in the UK and US.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of technical experience in data engineering and infrastructure.
• Expertise in Azure data services: ADF, Databricks, and Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystems and legacy ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and RDBMS management.
• Experience implementing DataOps and Azure Data Security frameworks.
• Proven track record within SAFe Agile frameworks.
• Ability to architect complex data migrations and end-to-end pipelines.
• Experience with Azure PowerApps and the Azure Power Platform.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of emerging services like Data Fabric.
