Description

You will lead large-scale data migrations from on-premises Hadoop systems to Azure, owning the architecture and execution of these critical transitions.

Responsibilities

• Architect data flows from diverse sources into Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL Warehouse, and Synapse.
• Automate data pipelines using DataOps methodologies to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Implement Azure security services to enforce data protection standards across all environments.
• Perform deep technical dives into complex issues and present actionable findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and iterate within a SAFe Agile framework, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of engineering experience in data infrastructure.
• Expertise in Azure Data services, specifically Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystems and legacy ETL processes.
• Strong SQL proficiency and deep understanding of RDBMS architectures.
• Azure Data Certification is required.
• Experience with Azure PowerApps and the broader Azure Power Platform.
• Practical knowledge of DataOps principles and data security implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
