Description

You will lead large-scale data migrations from on-premises Hadoop systems to Azure and architect secure, automated data flows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect data flows from diverse sources into Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure SQL Warehouse, and Synapse.
• Lead large-scale data migrations from on-premises Hadoop systems to Azure.
• Automate data pipelines using DataOps methodologies and implement Azure security services.
• Operate within a SAFe Agile framework to deliver development projects.
• Perform deep dives into technical issues and present findings to wider audiences.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of engineering experience with a proven track record in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
• Expertise with Azure Synapse and Azure SQL.
• Strong SQL and RDBMS proficiency with experience in Hadoop and ETL processes.
• Experience with Azure Data Security services and implementation.
• Background in DataOps and automating data pipelines.
• Experience with Azure PowerApps and the Azure Power Platform.
• Ability to function in a T-shaped role across data architecture and engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Data Certification.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Fabric.
