Description

You will own the data governance strategy and implementation within the Microsoft Purview ecosystem, ensuring data quality, lineage, and compliance across Azure and AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure Microsoft Purview components, including Collections, Scanners, Metadata catalogs, Classifications, Glossary, and Lineage.
• Maintain and enhance existing Purview deployments by resolving scan, lineage, and metadata issues.
• Develop automation for governance workflows using Microsoft Purview REST APIs and SDKs.
• Build custom Fabric reports and dashboards using data from Microsoft Purview to enable AI-driven insights.
• Document technical implementations clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data governance.
• 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS data services.
• Experience with Purview Data Quality, including profiling, rules, thresholds, and monitoring.
• Experience with Purview Workflow for approval processes and governance automation.
• Agile methodology experience.

• Financial services technology experience.
