Description

You will lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives, defining the strategy and roadmap for master and reference data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and operation of master data management solutions for customers, assets, vendors, and materials.
• Guide data governance councils, stewards, and owners to define and maintain data policies, standards, and taxonomies.
• Oversee the design and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, data lineage, and business glossaries.
• Optimize MDM workflows, data models, and governance frameworks to manage organizational data assets.
• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure compliance and support large-scale data transformation and migration initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• 5+ years of experience in metadata management and/or data management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MDG (SAP Master Data Governance).
• Proficiency with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Technical knowledge of SAP HANA and data quality management.
• Ability to create and present data governance reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Experience managing Supply Chain Management data domains.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale ERP transformations or S/4HANA implementations.
• Industry experience in regulated sectors such as aviation, manufacturing, or life sciences.

Ability to travel up to 20% domestically.
