Description

You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure effective organization-wide data management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls to ensure adoption.
• Partner with architects, business analysts, and Legal & Compliance to identify and resolve governance challenges.
• Integrate data governance controls into solution designs by collaborating with project teams.
• Develop metadata solutions to maintain data definitions and lineage documentation within a central repository.
• Perform data audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in data governance or data management roles.
• Hands-on experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or similar.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of Agile and other project management methods.
• Experience implementing Responsible AI and managing data-related regulatory requirements.
• Strong ability to manage data lineage, data quality, and data modelling processes.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Cloud certification.
• Experience with diverse data technologies including cloud, on-prem, structured/unstructured, and streaming/reposed data.
