Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data services and infrastructure to automate data processing and management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data services using Python or Scala.
• Build and maintain complex data pipelines processing hundreds of terabytes daily using PySpark, Trino, Airflow, and Apache Iceberg.
• Lead end-to-end projects within the data infrastructure group in collaboration with the Data Engineering Guild.
• Partner with cross-functional infrastructure teams to build data platform capabilities.
• Write complex SQL queries and develop big data processing pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data-centric applications.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark, Trino, Airflow, and FastAPI.
• Experience with cloud architecture, including AWS services and Kubernetes.
• Professional fluency in both Lithuanian and English.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with streaming engines such as Flink and Kafka.
• Knowledge of Great Expectations, data catalogs, and data governance practices.
