Description

You will lead enterprise data engineering and master data management (MDM) strategy for procurement and supply chain domains.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data architecture, governance, and scalability strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage teams of data engineers and analysts while establishing technical best practices.
• Design and manage scalable data platforms, warehouses, and lakehouse solutions using modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Drive enterprise-wide MDM implementation, including data standardization, deduplication, and quality monitoring.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders to deliver analytics for vendor performance and compliance.

Required Skills

• 8–18+ years of experience in Data Engineering with strong MDM and Procurement/Supply Chain exposure.
• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Apache Hadoop.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data platform implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling.
• Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience integrating with ERP and procurement platforms such as SAP, SAP Ariba, and Coupa.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in global cross-functional environments.
• Proven team leadership experience managing technical stakeholders.
