Description

You will lead and execute the migration of critical ITSM data from BMC Remedy to modern ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end data migration from BMC Remedy to ITSM tools like Jira Service Management.
• Analyze and extract data from Remedy’s backend using SQL or API access.
• Utilize SQL and PostgreSQL to manipulate, cleanse, and validate data during migration.
• Configure and administer Jira Service Management features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data migration from legacy ITSM systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL, including advanced querying and scripting.
• Demonstrable expertise in BMC Remedy administration and data structures.
• Strong proficiency in Jira Service Management configuration and administration.
• Experience leveraging Jira REST APIs.
• Deep understanding of ITSM platforms (BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management).
• Experience working with government clients and public sector IT projects.
