Description

You will lead data migration efforts for a payment system project, moving data from a temporary PostgreSQL source to a target system.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute data migration strategies for transferring data from PostgreSQL source databases.
• Build ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data while maintaining integrity and security.
• Create ETL mapping documents and design ETL jobs that align with the target data model.
• Perform post-migration validation, including consistency checks and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders to ensure migration meets requirements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in data migration.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience using Informatica or Talent.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
