Description

Design, develop, and maintain logical, conceptual, and physical relational data models to support complex business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy conceptual, logical, and physical data models in third normal form and canonical formats.
• Create technical documentation including data dictionaries, data lineage, data mapping, and data flow diagrams.
• Develop data modeling and migration strategies, including plans, schedules, and task execution.
• Monitor databases to identify data quality issues and implement resolutions for operational processes.
• Collaborate with Business SMEs, Analysts, and technical teams to extract requirements from functional and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing entity relational diagrams and relational data models.
• 10+ years of experience using data modeling software, such as Erwin Data Modeler, for forward and reverse engineering.
• 7+ years of experience developing complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• 7+ years of experience performing performance tuning on SQL scripts, PL/SQL, and database objects.
• 7+ years of experience creating technical documentation such as data lineage, mapping, and fit-gap analysis.
• 7+ years of experience designing data models based on legacy mainframe systems for transformation into modern RDBMS.
• Proven experience in a leadership role for at least 2 years on complex projects.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing data models in third normalization form for staging and OLTP environments.
