You will design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support operational and analytical requirements in the Property & Casualty insurance domain.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design data models aligned with industry standards like ACORD, translating complex business requirements from underwriting, claims, and finance teams.
• Optimize data structures for performance, integrity, and scalability across source systems, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to define standards, dictionaries, and metadata.
• Document data models, mappings, and lineage using tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or PowerDesigner.
• Mentor junior modelers and analysts on data design best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Deep knowledge of P&C insurance data, including policy, claims, billing, and customer data.
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
• Strong command of SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with data modeling tools like Erwin or ER/Studio.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with ACORD or IBM Insurance Data Warehouse models.
• Understanding of data lake and lakehouse architecture.
