Description

You will design and implement enterprise-scale data models and scalable Snowflake architectures, leading complex cloud data warehouse implementations.

Responsibilities

• Design canonical logical and physical data models using professional modeling tools.
• Build and maintain flexible, scalable Snowflake models and complex stored procedures.
• Lead end-to-end data migration projects and manage complex data pipeline troubleshooting.
• Provide technical leadership for large enterprise projects and guide cloud technology adoption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data architecture, flows, and models.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data modeling and data warehousing.
• Expertise in Snowflake, including ELT using Snowflake SQL and advanced features like Zero copy clone and time travel.
• Deep understanding of 3NF, Star schema, and data security/access controls.
• Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL) and programming in Java or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Experience with CDC tools like Oracle Goldengate or Qlik.
• Proven track record of at least two end-to-end Snowflake cloud data warehouse implementations.
• Ability to tune query performance and manage virtual warehouse sizing and RBAC controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, and Snowpipe.
• Big Data modeling techniques using Python.
