Description

Lead data modeling and architecture for cyber security data projects, ensuring robust data governance and integration patterns.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and the data governance team to define common information models and data identity/access management frameworks.
• Perform hands-on data modeling, mapping, and lineage analysis to support migration and integration patterns.
• Consult on projects involving the transfer of GIS data to other systems and ensure compliance with cyber security data standards.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and technical documentation for complex data ecosystems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling and architecture, with a focus on technical leadership and hands-on execution.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and scripting tasks.
• Hands-on experience working with Oracle, Hadoop, and Starburst platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver within two-week sprint cycles in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in data engineering is required; prior financial services (FS) experience is not needed.
