Description

Own data modeling and architecture for cyber security projects in Washington, D.C., delivering within two-week sprints. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and the data governance team to define requirements.
• Develop a common information model and support data mapping and lineage.
• Translate GIS data into other systems using proven integration and migration patterns.
• Execute data dictionaries and modeling tasks directly.
• Understand data identity and access management focused on cyber security data.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on data modeling and data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Experience working with Oracle, Hadoop, and Starburst platforms.
• Strong background in data mapping, lineage, and data dictionary management.
• Experience with cyber security data domains.
• Ability to work effectively in a sprint-based environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in banking data domains.
