Description

You will own network observability and data collection to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from diverse sources including network traffic, application logs, SNMP, API, and security threat data.
• Analyze collected data to maintain network reliability and optimize system efficiency.
• Extract data from networking platforms including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and cloud services.
• Run analytics on network and security data to drive observability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience using Python for automation and data analysis.
• 5+ years of experience working with Big Data frameworks.
• Proven experience in network observability and visibility.
• 2+ years of experience configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting routers, switches, load balancers, and NextGen firewalls.
• Proficiency with network management protocols such as SNMP, WMI, Syslog, ICMP, and NetFlow.
• Experience with network management and monitoring tools like SolarWinds or similar.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AIOps and Machine Learning.
