Description

You will design and maintain scalable data platforms using Snowflake, build ETL/ELT pipelines, and develop AI-driven data products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design schemas, optimize SQL, and manage Snowflake environments including roles and warehouse sizing.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting from APIs, databases, and event streams to produce normalized data models.
• Develop backend integrations and APIs connecting internal systems and third-party services.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex and AI agent frameworks to automate analytical workflows and build intelligent data products.
• Implement change management practices and ensure data quality through testing and observability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and platform development.
• Advanced Snowflake proficiency: writing complex SQL (PIVOT, GROUPING SETS), designing dimensional models, and managing production environments.
• Strong Python skills for pipeline orchestration, data transformation, API clients, and scripting.
• Experience designing normalized schemas and transformation pipelines (star/snowflake schema).
• Proven ability to integrate heterogeneous sources including relational databases, REST APIs, SaaS platforms, and event streams.
• Practical experience with backend integration patterns: authentication, pagination, error handling, and retry logic.
• Familiarity with cloud data infrastructure (Azure or AWS) and data observability frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Go (Golang) for building backend services or microservices.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex, LLM functions, and agent-based patterns.
