Description

You will lead complex data science initiatives, from requirements gathering to model validation and stakeholder presentation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements gathering and design sessions to define scope and objectives for business use cases.
• Perform detailed analysis and feature engineering on structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop data structures, integration processes, and user interfaces to illustrate analytical insights.
• Test, compare, and validate machine learning model results before solution implementation.
• Lead less experienced analysts on specific projects and deliver oral briefs and presentations of findings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science using R or Python.
• Expertise in statistical application prototyping and machine learning (Classification, Regression, and Clustering).
• Experience working on the Hadoop platform, including HDFS, Hive, and Sqoop.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, including PySpark, SparkR, and SparkSQL.
• Strong knowledge of data mining and statistical predictive modeling.
• Ability to create interpretable visualizations that communicate insights.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data ecosystems using Jupyter and Zeppelin notebooks.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.
