Description

You will develop, improve, and maintain machine learning and data engineering models to support demand forecasting and planning decision support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve forecasting, simulation, and optimization models for supply chain logistics.
• Write production-ready Python code and perform peer reviews to maintain extendable codebases.
• Collaborate with product owners, backend engineers, and frontend engineers in a cross-functional environment.
• Study logistics planning processes to identify key factors impacting operations.
• Communicate findings and technical requirements to diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data science roles.
• Strong proficiency in writing production-ready Python code.
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
• Proven experience with forecasting, simulation, or optimization models, specifically in logistics and supply chain.
• Familiarity with open-source MLOps tools such as Metaflow, BentoML, or Kubeflow.
• Experience applying software engineering practices to data science workflows.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional product teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
