Description

You will research and implement Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing methods to improve user experience for Life Sciences and Healthcare products.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify ML and NLP algorithms to solve specific domain problems.
• Implement methods and devise test plans to validate and compare different approaches.
• Identify new applications for ML and NLP across extensive content and data sets.
• Explore existing data for insights and recommend additional sources for model improvement.
• Test ideas and adapt methods end-to-end from data extraction to implementation and validation.

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of industry experience with a 5-year track record in ML applications.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in Python programming and analytical modeling.
• Proficiency in Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
• Experience working with AI/ML frameworks.
• Ability to communicate findings and tell a data-driven story across business units.
• Experience using tools such as PyCharm, Databricks, or Jupyter.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree or PhD with a focus on AI/ML.
• Experience with search engines, classification algorithms, recommendation systems, and relevance evaluation.
• Experience with NLP solutions in the Life Sciences and Healthcare domain.
• Experience with ML pipelines and deployment on AWS or Google Cloud.
