Description

Design, develop, and productionalize predictive models to drive business outcomes within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data flow designs and technical requirements documentation following Agile standards.
• Build, train, and tune machine learning models, including hyperparameter optimization and feature extraction.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and subject matter experts to deliver advanced analytic solutions from design to deployment.
• Analyze large datasets using modern technologies to implement automated data collection, curation, and model training.
• Evaluate algorithmic performance and demonstrate results against business objectives and metrics.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in an ESG technology focused role within asset management or financial services.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning tools including R, Theano, TensorFlow, SparkML, or Foundry.
• Practical application of modeling types such as classification, regression, time series, clustering, text analytics, survival, association, optimization, or reinforcement learning.
• Technical proficiency in Python, R, Scala, and Spark.
• Experience with cloud and computing technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Spark, AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Functional knowledge of data visualization libraries like matplotlib or ggplot2, or tools such as Microsoft Power BI, QuickSight, or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data models, large datasets, and statistical programming.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
