Good to Have Skills: Knowledge of cloud computing environments and tooling especially AWS. Advanced software development skills including unit testing, CI/CD, and Git. Basic skills regarding database handling with SQL. Basic knowledge of the always evolving Data Science ecosystem and its frameworks. Experience with sampling and weighting techniques. Ability to handle missing data effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Own together with your team several of our Data Science solutions throughout the full life cycle including brainstorming, design, implementation, productization and maintenance.
• Develop solutions based on data science, statistics and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Improve methods and tools while contributing to our communities of practice in the area of Data Science.
• Communicate with non-data scientists in Tech, Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to understand domain requirements.
• Explain Data Science principles, concepts, algorithms, and approaches in simple words to different types of audiences.
• Make data your best friends by understanding their strengths and being aware of their weaknesses in solutions.
• Screen the market for potential new Data Science approaches and emerging technologies in the field.
• Foster knowledge exchange within the company and present company's Data Science expertise at conferences and workshops.

Experience Required: 6+ years of experience in data science with expert statistical and machine learning modeling skills. Experience with analytical programming language Python and the respective ecosystem.

Education: Master's degree or PhD that reflects modeling and statistics skills
