Description

You will lead the end-to-end development of complex analytical solutions and machine learning models. Responsibilities include conducting requirements gathering and design sessions to define project scope and objectives. You will perform detailed analysis, feature engineering, and design of data structures and integration processes. Test, compare, and validate machine learning model results prior to implementation. Guide less experienced analysts on technical projects and deliver insights through oral briefs and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of complex analytical solutions and ML models.
• Conduct requirements gathering and design sessions to define project scope.
• Perform detailed analysis, feature engineering, and data structure design.
• Test, compare, and validate ML model results before implementation.
• Guide junior analysts and communicate insights via presentations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science using R or Python.
• Expertise in machine learning, including classification, regression, and clustering.
• Extensive experience in predictive modeling and data mining for real-world problems.
• Proficiency working with Hadoop platforms, including HDFS and Hive.
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured datasets.
• Strong skills in statistical application prototyping.
• Experience creating interpretable visualizations to communicate analytical insights.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data Ecosystems such as Spark (pySpark, SparkR, SparkSQL), Sqoop, Jupyter, or Zeppelin.
• Background in data engineering.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, or Snowflake.
