Description

You will own the development and maintenance of recommendation and personalization algorithms for streaming video applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance machine learning algorithms for personalization, recommendation, and predictive systems.
• Own the maintenance and optimization of algorithms deployed in production environments.
• Analyze user interactions and profiles to drive improvements in personalization metrics.
• Prototype and operationalize machine learning products for new production features.
• Establish best practices for algorithm development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of analytical experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing machine learning models using Python and tensor-based frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow.
• 5+ years of experience writing production-level, scalable code in Python or Scala.
• 5+ years of experience developing algorithms for deployment to production systems.
• In-depth understanding of deep learning methods and mathematical underpinnings for recommendation engines.
• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and contextualized word embedding models.
• Experience deploying and maintaining pipelines using AWS, Docker, and Airflow.
• Experience engineering big-data solutions using Databricks, S3, and Spark.
• Proficiency in statistical concepts including hypothesis testing and regression analysis.

Preferred Skills

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Math, or a related quantitative field.
• Production experience developing content recommendation algorithms at scale.
• Experience building full-stack ML pipelines including data extraction, mining, training, and deployment.
