Lead advanced data science initiatives focusing on NLP and large language models in a remote contract capacity.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy machine learning models using Python and transformer-based architectures.
• Manage algorithm flows and build APIs within DevOps repositories.
• Apply NLP techniques including text classification, re-ranking, and topic modeling.
• Mitigate LLM hallucinations and optimize models through prompt engineering and reinforcement learning.
• Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, and model building.
• Expertise in Python with strong coding fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of NLP and Transformer architectures (BERT, RoBERTa, T5).
• Practical experience with LLMs (ChatGPT, GPT-3.5, OPT, BLOOM).
• Proficiency with distributed computing systems like Hadoop and Spark.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and prompt engineering.
• Ability to debug code and manage complex algorithm workflows in a single repository.
• Any Graduate degree.
