Description

You will build production-grade machine learning models and optimization solutions for insurance risk, claims analytics, and fraud detection.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive analytics and risk modeling solutions for claims severity and incident prediction.
• Build record-linkage and entity-resolution models for datasets lacking unique identifiers.
• Apply mathematical optimization (LP, IP, MIP) using CPLEX or Gurobi to solve resource allocation challenges.
• Design and deploy NLP pipelines for claims narrative analysis, text classification, and LLM applications.
• Ensure data governance, PII handling, and architecture standards across Databricks and Snowflake.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Operations Research.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake data architectures.
• Proven track record deploying production-grade ML solutions in enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Explainable AI (SHAP, LIME) and statistical modeling.
• Ability to handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Agile delivery experience with scalable data architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant PhD (2+ years experience may be acceptable).
• Domain expertise in Insurance, Hospitality, or Travel industry analytics.
