Description

Apply advanced statistical modeling and machine learning to solve complex retail business problems. You will own the end-to-end data lifecycle from cleaning large datasets to deploying scalable optimization solutions.

Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and manipulate large datasets to drive business process improvements.
• Develop, test, and maintain large codebases in a collaborative environment.
• Deploy machine learning and optimization solutions that deliver large-scale business impact.
• Perform data analysis, simulations, and visualizations to support decision-making.
• Collaborate across geographies and time zones to meet project timelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in data science or a related field.
• Proven experience working within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Experience using Azure and Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, optimization, and data structures.
• Expertise in machine learning, probability estimation, and linear programming (integer, real, and mixed integer).
• Bachelor's, MS, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Background in handling supply chain data.
