Description

You own the infrastructure stream, leading technical execution for AWS architecture and deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define sprint scope, create infrastructure stories, and prioritize the backlog.
• Design and implement serverless, event-driven AWS architectures using Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Translate legacy Mainframe Assembler logic and Mastercard IPM messages into Python/Java workflows on AWS.
• Manage infrastructure provisioning using Terraform-based Environment as Code (EAC) automation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Lambda and ECS workloads using Jenkins or Spinnaker.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years specifically on AWS.
• Expertise in Terraform for multi-region infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, ECS Fargate, Step Functions, EventBridge, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL Serverless.
• Proven experience implementing HA/DR and replication strategies (Aurora Global DB, S3 CRR).
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data parsing and workflow development.
• Deep understanding of AWS security practices: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and VPC design.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Spinnaker.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with TrueCD testing practices (contract, integration, regression).
• Minimum 5 years of onsite experience in Tier 1 environments, preferably in FinTech or Banking.
