Description

You will own the technical delivery of the Data Platform’s core functionality and strategic solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable tooling, APIs, applications, and data stores to accelerate data warehousing and big data analytics.
• Drive execution of strategic technology solutions across Hadoop, Cloud, and other relevant data technologies.
• Manage several small development teams focused on the Big Data platform and Data Management applications.
• Collaborate organization-wide on current and future state architecture and coordinate with DevOps and platform teams for platform stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of appropriate technical experience.
• Advanced experience developing modular solutions in Python, Scala, and Java.
• Experience with Spark for data processing.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in large database platforms.
• Experience developing Cloud-based Big Data solutions on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with building Java-based web applications.
• Familiarity with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and Agile Methodology (Scrum).
