Description

You will manage end-to-end infrastructure support for enterprise Oracle and SQL Server database platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own high availability, performance, and stability of database platforms to meet defined SLAs.
• Lead resolution of Sev1 and Sev2 incidents and drive root cause analysis through problem management.
• Design and validate database architectures, focusing on clustering, replication, and failover strategies.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies, including periodic recovery testing.
• Perform advanced performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource utilization analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle (11g/12c/19c/21c) and Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2017/2019/2022).
• Expertise in Oracle HA and DR solutions, including Data Guard and GoldenGate.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL, T-SQL, and SQL.
• Strong experience with Oracle performance tools including AWR, ASH, and ADDM.
• Scripting experience in Shell and PowerShell, with exposure to Python for automation.
• Experience administering databases on Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and data integration architecture.
